AIRPORT OR HOTEL PICK-UP / WELCOME

You will meet your tour guide at the Colombo CMB airport and be taken to your accommodation (we can also pick you up from any hotel in Colombo or Negombo). The first stop will be the seaside town of Negombo, which has a reputation for having the best beach in Sri Lanka due to its beautiful sands, delicious food, and exciting activities.

ELEPHANT FOUNDATION / VILLAGE TOUR / SIGIRIYA FORTRESS

You will go on an amazing tour through the breathtaking Sri Lankan countryside after indulging in a delectable breakfast accompanied by a nice cup of tea or coffee. Dambulla city is the hub of the island's cultural triangle. Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress located in Sri Lanka. It features stunning frescoes, extensive gardens, and impressive water systems, dating back to the 5th century AD when it was a royal citadel. The site is renowned for its massive rock column, which rises about 200 meters high and offers breathtaking views from the top. Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of Sri Lanka's most iconic landmarks, reflecting the country's rich history and architectural ingenuity.

GOLDEN CAVE TEMPLE / HISTORIC KANDY / CULTURAL SHOW

Head for Kandy, the capital of the final Sinhalese kingdom, in the morning. It is situated on a plateau surrounded by mountains that are home to biodiverse rainforests and tea plantations. Kandy is a city in central Sri Lanka, known for its rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era and is home to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which houses a sacred tooth of the Buddha. This temple is a major pilgrimage site for Buddhists.

Kandy is also famous for its botanical gardens, traditional dance performances, and the annual Esala Perahera festival, which features a grand procession of elephants, dancers, and drummers. Starting from Kandy or Nuwara Eliya, the train meanders through breathtaking landscapes, offering stunning views of rolling hills and waterfalls. Key highlights include:

Travel from Ella to Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's largest and most beautiful national park, after breakfast. Two portions make up Yala National Park because of a river that flows through it. Yala is administered as two distinct parks because the river makes it difficult to traverse to the other side. However, that doesn't take away from the amazing offers! With its broad spectrum of ecosystems, the park is home to a remarkable array of animals, such as sloth bears, leopards, and a multitude of vibrant birds.

LEISURE DAY ON THE BEACH

It will be an amazing journey through coconut palms, mountains, and waterfalls before you reach Sri Lanka's beautiful coastline. Previously a well-kept secret, Mirissa/Dickwella is a lovely sandy beach, although now days not many eateries and bars are welcoming guests. This stunning location is defined by white sand beaches and coconut palms that seem to be springing straight from the seaside, resembling a picture-perfect tropical beach postcard.

Day 9 :
Mirissa

WHALE WATCHING BOAT TOUR / BEACH RELAX

Return to the stunning golden sand beach early in the morning, then board a boat for an incredible sea adventure to see blue whales and dolphins. It should be noted that whale viewing is an optional and seasonal pastime.

Enjoy the amazing atmosphere by the beach for the remainder of the day on your own.
Among the most popular list of activities are deep sea fishing, fishing, surfing, diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, and fishing.  

Evening, you'll undoubtedly love the spectacular panorama of sunset and the nice coastal environment. You may also stop by a restaurant along the water and sample some real Sri Lankan seafood; they probably have a delicious crab curry on the menu. Spend the night at a gorgeous beachfront residence in Dickwella or Mirissa.

GALLE FORT / RIVER SAFARI /TURTLE HATCHERY

You will be traveling to Galle, a city renowned for its Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), after breakfast. It is the point where tropical scenery and traditional Dutch and British architecture converge to create an incredibly beautiful ambiance.

Following breakfast, you will have a tour of Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, which has a fascinating history dating back to the fifth century.
