Today, we'll be leaving Kalpitiya and heading to one of the country's most beautiful and pristine natural wonders: Wilpattu National Park. After breakfast, we'll pack up and hit the road, taking in the stunning scenery along the way. Upon arrival, we'll be met by our experienced camp crew, who will help us settle in at our campsite located right at the border of the national park. Wilpattu National Park has recently reopened after a closure of over 20 years, meaning that the wilderness is truly pristine and undisturbed. Prepare to be amazed by the incredible natural beauty of this park, which is home to a wide array of exotic animals including leopards, sloth bears, and more. Spend the afternoon exploring the park with our expert guides, who will lead us on game drives and help us spot some of the most elusive animals in the world. As night falls, we'll return to our comfortable campsite and enjoy a delicious meal under the stars.

Day 4 :
WILPATTU

Start the day off with a thrilling morning jeep safari, where you'll witness the incredible sights and sounds of this breathtaking park. Our expert guides will lead us through the park and help us spot some of the most elusive animals, including leopards, elephants, and more. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, an evening jeep safari is also available. Take in the stunning sunset over the park and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the wilderness at dusk. No matter which safari you choose, you're in for a treat. Wilpattu National Park is truly one of the most beautiful and untouched natural wonders in Sri Lanka, and this jeep safari is the perfect way to immerse yourself in its natural beauty. After a day filled with adventure and excitement, return to our comfortable campsite for another peaceful night under the stars. This is truly an experience that nature and animal lovers alike will admire and cherish forever.

Today, we'll be departing from Wilpattu National Park and heading towards the cultural hub of Habarana. On the way to Habarana, you have the option to explore the ancient city of Anuradhapura, an incredible UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases Sri Lanka's rich history and culture. Upon arrival in Habarana, settle into your comfortable hotel and spend the evening embarking on a thrilling Jeep safari at either Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. These parks are home to a variety of exotic wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and more. Our expert guides will lead us through the park and help us spot some of the most incredible animals in the world. After a day filled with adventure and excitement, return to your hotel in Habarana for a well-deserved rest. This incredible city is the perfect base for exploring Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage and breathtaking natural wonders, making it the perfect addition to your wild life tour.

After breakfast, we'll visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases the incredible history and culture of Sri Lanka. This incredible fortress is perched atop a massive rock formation and is one of the most iconic landmarks in the country. Along the way, we'll also explore the beautiful village of Hiriwaduna, where you'll get a firsthand look at traditional Sri Lankan village life. Experience a thrilling bullock cart ride and even a catamaran boat ride, providing a unique and unforgettable experience. After our visit to Sigiriya and Hiriwaduna, we'll continue on our journey to Kandy. Along the way, we'll stop at the Dambulla cave temple, another UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases some of the most incredible ancient cave paintings and sculptures in the world. Day 7 :
KANDY

After an early breakfast, we'll head to the Udawatta Kele Forest Reserve, a beautiful forest reserve that's perfect for bird watching. Spend a few hours surrounded by nature, listening to the chirping of birds and marveling at the incredible variety of species that call this reserve home. Whether you're an avid bird watcher or simply looking for a peaceful escape into nature, this reserve is sure to delight. Later, if you wish, we can take a short drive to the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peredeniya, a lush garden that's home to a variety of tropical flora. Here, you can take a leisurely stroll through the gardens and marvel at the incredible colors, textures, and fragrances of the various plants and flowers. In the evening, we'll visit the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, an important and sacred site for Buddhists around the world. Here, you'll get a firsthand look at the rich religious and cultural heritage of Sri Lanka, as well as the beautiful architecture and design of the temple itself. After a day filled with exploration and adventure, return to your comfortable hotel in Kandy for a well-deserved rest.

After a delightful breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya, passing by the breathtaking Ramboda Falls along the way. En route, we’ll visit the Labukale Tea Factory, where you'll get an insider’s look at the tea production process, while soaking in the endless vistas of rolling tea-carpeted hills. Watch as the vibrant saris of the local female tea pluckers create a vivid contrast against the lush green plantations, making for a truly mesmerizing sight.
As we wind through the serene hills and valleys, the beauty of this region will leave you captivated. Upon arriving in Nuwara Eliya, also known as "Little England," we’ll check into your hotel, offering a moment to relax and unwind. In the evening, take a tranquil stroll by Gregory Lake, where the serene waters mirror the surrounding lush greenery and hills, creating a picture-perfect setting.
As the day draws to a close, return to your cozy hotel, where the peace and serenity of Sri Lanka's enchanting hill country will lull you into a restful night's sleep. After a delightful breakfast, we'll travel just outside of Nuwara Eliya to the Horton Plains National Park, where you'll have the opportunity to experience the panoramic mountains of Sri Lanka. We'll embark on a slow and steady hike through the park, taking in the breathtaking views and the natural beauty that surrounds us. Along the way, we'll stop to visit Baker's Waterfall, a stunning cascade that is sure to take your breath away. After our hike, we'll continue our journey to Yala, where we'll check into our hotel and settle in for the night. Yala is known for its incredible wildlife, and we'll have the opportunity to explore the area and witness some of Sri Lanka's most magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Day 10 :
YALA

After a delicious breakfast, we'll spend the day on an exciting safari adventure in Yala National Park. Yala is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, deer, and various bird species. We'll embark on a thrilling jeep safari, led by an experienced guide who will take us deep into the heart of the park. As we explore the park, we'll have the opportunity to observe these incredible animals in their natural habitat and learn more about their behaviors and habitats. Keep your camera handy, as you won't want to miss capturing these incredible moments. As part of our safari adventure in Yala National Park, we'll also enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the heart of the park. We'll find a scenic spot to relax and enjoy our lunch while taking in the stunning surroundings of the park. This will be the perfect opportunity to recharge and refuel for the rest of our day of safari adventure. So get ready for an exciting and fulfilling day exploring the incredible wildlife of Yala, with a picnic lunch to keep us fueled up and energized throughout the day. After a full day of safari adventure, we'll return to our hotel for a relaxing evening and a good night's rest. After our thrilling adventure in Yala National Park, we'll travel to the awe-inspiring Udawalawe National Park, situated 200KM south-east of Colombo. This park is a major eco-tourism destination, and it's not hard to see why. Udawalawe is renowned for its impressive population of over 350 majestic elephants, and it's not uncommon to see whole herds of these gentle giants feeding, bathing and playing in the water. But that's not all - this incredible park is also home to buffaloes, water monitor lizards, sambar deer, monkeys and even leopards, as well as thousands of rare birds. A full-day safari through Udawalawe National Park will undoubtedly be a highlight of your Sri Lankan adventure. As you journey through this incredible ecosystem, you'll be awed by the diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes that surround you. After an action-packed day of safari adventure, we'll relax and unwind at a comfortable hotel in Udawalawe, where we'll rest up for another day of excitement and exploration.
